Specifically, students who participate in intercollegiate athletics and those taking part in intramural sport clubs are compared in terms of participation motivation. Data were obtained from a questionnaire survey of 403 students belonging to intercollegiate athletic teams (n=231) and intramural sport clubs (n=172) at a university in Aichi Prefecture. Major results of the study include: (1) Factor analysis of motivation to participate in organized sport revealed 7 factors. The cumulative percentage of the contribution of the extracted seven factors was 68.0%. These seven factors were named "affiliation", "freedom", "health and physical fitness", "achievement", "adherence", "avoidance", and "social usefulness", respectively. The resulting factor structure was quite similar to and consistent with those reported in previous studies investigating student motivation regarding sports participation. (2) Factor scores of the motives were calculated and compared to see if differences exist between the student group participating in intercollegiate athletics and that in intramural sports. T-tests revealed statistically significant differences for 5 of seven factor scores: "affinity", "freedom", "health and physical fitness", "achievement" and "social usefulness"., 6, KJ00004532288, 原著論文, Original Article}, title = {大学生の組織スポーツへの参加動機に関する研究 : 体育会運動部とスポーツサークル活動参加者の比較}, volume = {47}, year = {2006}, yomi = {クラモト, ケンタ and キクチ, ヒデオ} }
