| 内容記述 | Stroke technique accounts for a large share of performance in competitive swimming. The Japan Swimming Federation has analyzed races in competition. But that data on stroke length and stroke ratio are too hard for coach and swimmer to use. Therefore, a new index for estimation of stroke technique is required. The purpose of this study was to develop a new index for estimation of technique using impulse in competitive swimming. The subjects were three swimmers on the university swimming team. Subjects crawled ten strokes at a constant velocity. That velocity was from 0.8m/s to 2.0m/s, increasing in 0.2m/s steps. Stroke impulse was measured from the time of a stroke and velocity of swimming. The results of this experiment indicate the possibility that stroke impulse reflects technique in the crawl stroke. | |||||
