| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to investigate the trends of massgame (collective gymnastics and dance exhibition) at the National Sports Festival from the 1lth to the 20th (during the period of II). With analyzing the reports on the National Sports Festival, the training manuals of massgames and the related materials etc, the idea of the perfomance, and the composition of the program were arranged, and the contents of performance were investigated, along with clarifying its changes during the period of II. Results of this study are summarized as follows : 1. The massgame (called massgame or exhibition) were performed as the open pubilic demonstration during the opening and closing ceremony. In opening ceremony the massgame were performed both before and after the ceremony, and in closing ceremony, they were performed only before it. 2. The idea of the massagame was obscure. Each massgame theme was differnt at each festival. The subjects of the theme were local things (folkdance, famous places, history, prefectural movements etc.), the vitality of the youngergeneration, scene of (playing) children, the communication of parents and children etc. 3. As for the charateristics of the performance of the massgame, the program consisted of gymnastics, dance, others exercises, and they were different for each festival. A fife and drumcorps ordinary performed in the beginning and final parts of the opening ceremony. Folkdance were mostly performed in the massgame before opening ceremony. Performances with high frequency in the gymnasticgroup were freegymnastics, pyramid building, gymnastics with handapparatus and, in the dancegroup, creative dance and rhythmic movement (rhytmicplay) and in the others, the fife and drumcorps, and japanese folkdance. In spite of the small number, the traditional folk arts was newly adopted. 4. The standard time for each performance mostly ranged from 15 to 20 min. and from 10 to 15 min. The total time of performances ranged from 130 to 250 min. 5. The number of performers was different in each festival. The numbers of performers in each performance was mostly from 1000 to 1500 in opening ceremony, and in closing ceremony from 500 to 1000. The total number of performers ranged from 6, 972 to 25, 032 during the period of II. 6. The performers were mostly from education institutions such as elemenataryschools, junior high schools, senior schools, the fife and drumcorps, along with, the woman'sclubs, militarybands, the gymnastics group of the Japan Gymnastics Association, the traditional folk arts etc. | |||||
