| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to clarify a walker's commitment to walking by applying the "Commitment to Running Scale" proposed by Carmack and Martens and to examine its reliability and validity. A survey of 480 walkers varying in sex, age, and walking experience was conducted. The Good-Poor Analysis suggested that 1 of 12 items composing the Walking Commitment Scale should be excluded from this scale. An ANOVA of walking commitment score given by 11 items indicated a significant difference among age groups. Cronbach's Alpha Value was .83. The Walking Commitment score had significant correlations with walking days, years of walking experience and frequency of participation in walking events. Thus, it was suggested that the Walking Commitment Scale's reliability and concurrent validity was proved. | |||||
