| 内容記述 | In the case of sport competition, it is said that the absolute muscle power and its velocity determine one's competitive perfomance. However, this general point of view is not a always true in respect of some kind of sports disciplines ; the best example of which might be the gymnasitcs. The purpose of this study is to examine how are the grasping power and the reaction time related to competitive level of Side Horse. The subjects in this study are 15 young mole student gymnasts who were selected from 3 different groups of Chukyo univerity's gymnastic team : 5 from regular member group, 5 from semi-regular member group and 5 geoup from non-regular member group ; the former two groups took part in the national gymastic contest. The averaged body mass ans height were 61.9±3.69kg and 166.07±4.95cm, respectively. The averaged hand size were 19.07±.905cm (left) and 18.9±.87cm (right). The grasping power of each group were 47.5kg, 49.5kg and 50.6kg in the order of performance level. The auditory reaction time were .119sec, .115sec and .118sec ; and the visual reaction time were .150ses, .163sec and .180sec, always in the order of performance level. The main result of this study were as follows. It is hard to think that the difference of grasping power between high performance group and low performance group contribute to make difference the competitive level of two groups concerned ; it became clear that the high performance group is better than other groups only in the visual reaction time. However, still more research will be necessary to make clear how the difference of reaction time might be related to the Side Horce competitive level. | |||||
