| 内容記述 | Physical education in Canada is undergoing some considerable changes within the last years. There are serious attempts to rethink the notion of democracy and its inherent element of humanitarian application. There are demands to become concerned with Canada's technological future, the health and sedentary life style of the population, and an education to be given to counter both. Further, this entails the provision for a more menaingful educational experience that has positive carry-over effects into future recreational life style patterns of the population. Three schools have been investigated in western Canada. Their respective systems have shown to be successful and have obtained considerable recognitions not only in Canada, but Australia, England, and the USA as well. It is time, to make these endeavors known beyond the borders of the English speaking communities. | |||||
